The location was convenient for shopping and
dining options, but the overall experience was marred by cleanliness issues. The pool area also needed more attention. It's a shame because the staff seemed friendly and eager to help. it's just that the facility itself fell short.

The hotel provided a convenient location across from a large mall. I appreciated the free breakfast, though I was disappointed when a man brought his dog into the food area. This was concerning for someone like me who enjoys cleanliness and quiet spaces.
The presence of pets in the hotel created issues for those with allergies. I noticed a lack of enforcement regarding pet policies, which affected my stay.

Our family had a nice stay here and really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub after a long day. The only downside was that our room had a faint smell that could have been better, but it didn't ruin our trip. I’d suggest checking out the arcade nearby if you're with kids! 😊

The location offered easy access to nearby attractions like an arcade and bowling alley, making it convenient for families. While the staff were friendly and the breakfast options were diverse, the pool environment was chaotic and loud, detracting from the relaxation we hoped for. Additionally, cleanliness was a concern. the room had visible issues like stained carpets and an unclean bathroom, which was disappointing for a recognized hotel brand.

Not for the faint of heart on a budget
The beds were comfy and they were perfectly accommodating to our 1am check-in
Not exactly cheap but still acceptable

Had an awesome time with my friends here! We explored the Nonesuch River Golf Club, which was a blast, and checked out the Tate House Museum, too. Great location close to everything and the team was super friendly. Breakfast was decent and there were always snacks available. Perfect for a fun getaway!
One downside was the cleanliness in some areas. The breakfast area felt a bit outdated and could use a deep cleaning. We had to wait for breakfast due to limited waffle makers, which was frustrating. Just something to keep in mind.

The location was great, being so close to shops and places to eat was a major plus. I particularly enjoyed the indoor hot tub and pool, which kept the kids entertained. The breakfast had decent options, and while it could be improved, it was nice to have a variety available. However, I noticed the breakfast area could use some sprucing up since it felt a bit outdated and could have been cleaner.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in South Portland for a couple of nights, and I had mixed feelings about my experience. The location is really convenient, close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to get around. I appreciated the friendly staff at check-in. they were welcoming and handed me a bottle of water, which was a nice touch. The room itself was decent but needed some maintenance. The sliding closet door didn’t work properly, and there were a few signs of wear and tear. The bathroom could have been cleaner, with some mold visible around the edges. The breakfast offerings were just okay—not quite as good as what I've had at other Hampton Inns. I noticed that the breakfast area felt a bit cramped, especially during busy hours. Another downside was the noise from neighboring rooms. I could hear conversations quite clearly, which interrupted my sleep. Overall, the stay had its highlights but definitely had room for improvement in cleanliness and noise control.

The indoor pool was a decent escape, and I loved the gym’s mountain views. Good luck finding a more comfortable mattress for my back!
The bathroom looked like a hair salon explosion—quite the ambiance!

Super comfy beds!
We stayed 3 nights and I was worried about noise since I had a bunch of teen girls with me. But wow, the soundproofing was legit! I couldn't hear them at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was a nice perk, and there were picnic tables outside if you want to chill. Just wish the breakfast selection was a bit better.

Just a nice choice for a weekend breather in South Portland with good value considering price it charged. The hot breakfast selection was impressive, especially the make-your-own waffle station that my kids loved. Bring your own coffee cups in case they run out during breakfast.
